Who we are

Playing without an account

You can create and join a bingo party without registering. When you do, your browser stores a randomly generated session identifier locally. It is what links you to your board so that your marked squares survive a page refresh. It is not linked to a name, an email address, or an advertising profile, and it stays in your own browser — clearing your site data removes it and, with it, your access to any board it held.

If you create an account

We store your email address, your display name, and a hash of your password. Passwords are hashed with argon2 and are never stored or transmitted in a readable form. Your email address is visible only to you and to platform administrators; it is never shown to other players.

If you sign in with Discord or Twitch instead, we store the account identifier and the profile name that provider gives us, plus the email address on that account so we can recognise you if you later sign in another way. We never receive your password for those services.

Parties you create or join

We store the parties you take part in: the party settings, the entries on the board, which squares were claimed and when, the display name you chose, and the scores. This is the game itself — it is kept so that a party can be resumed, and so past parties can be shown in your profile.

Anything you type that other players can see — a party name, a board entry, a display name — is visible to them. Please do not put personal information into those fields.

Advertising

We show advertisements supplied by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve those ads and to measure them. Where required, you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookie that is not strictly necessary is set, and you can change that choice at any time from the consent link shown with the ads.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your board content or party activity to build an advertising profile of you. We do not send marketing email.

How long we keep things

A party is deleted 90 days after it ends, together with everything in it: its boards, the entries that were called and the names players used. Until then you can revisit it from your profile. A party that was set up but never started is deleted 30 days after it was created, and a host can delete their party sooner from its admin page.

A party made public is listed on the Explore page while it is open, showing its name, language, number of players and how long it has left, to anyone who visits. Its entries and its players are only shown to people who join it.

If someone reported a party, the report is kept after the party is deleted, with the name and code of the party, so that it can still be reviewed. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Anonymous session identifiers live only in your own browser; once a party is deleted, nothing we hold connects them to it.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to access a copy of your data, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to complain to your national data protection authority. To exercise any of these, write to privacy@biisibingo.com.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page before the change takes effect.
